Eagle Pride Alert! We would like to recognize and celebrate an extraordinary individual—our 2025 Hopkins County Veteran of the Year, Mr. Joe Ortiz-Garcia.
Joe is a proud member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, and his dedication to our country is matched only by his unwavering commitment to his community, his students, and his family.
Joe is a true role model—his leadership, his humility, and his passion inspire everyone around him, especially our students. He shows them what it means to serve with honor, to lead with compassion, and to live with integrity.
He is currently deployed, but he was able to "Zoom" into the Freedom Ball to accept his award. Joe Garcia, you are an inspiration. On behalf of all of us—thank you for your service, thank you for your heart, and congratulations on being named our Veteran of the Year.

Our Lady Eagles softball season came to an end last night losing to a great Cross Roads team! The girls had a great season finishing 21-10. The seniors this year finished their high school career with four straight district championships and a record of 123 wins and 24 loses. We are proud of the time and hard work they put in! Congratulations on another great season ladies!

Our boys battled against McLeod in Marshall in the bi-district round of the playoffs last night and unfortunately they were not able to come away with the victory. This loss ends our baseball season of 2025, and we are so proud of our War Eagles! They accomplished a lot this season and return majority of the team next year! We look forward to an even better season next year!!

Eagle Pride Alert! Congratulations to our Top 10 Graduating Seniors for the Class of 2025. We are so proud of you! #EaglePride247

Our Lady Eagle Softball had a tough loss last night, losing 8-7 in the bottom of the 8th inning. It was a great game by both teams. Saylor Smith hit a grand slam in the fourth inning to open things up. She ended with 5 RBIs for the night.
Their next game is today at Lindale HS starting at 6:00.
Come out and watch two top teams go head to head!!!

Eagle Nation Alert! Please vote for our 2 students art work!!
Each Spring, Congress participates in the Congressional Art Competition, which invites students grades 9-12 to participate. For 40 years, the nationwide high school art competition has been sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, with participation by hundreds of thousands of highly talented high school students from all over the United States.
We would like to encourage and recognize artistic talent in Texas' Fourth Congressional District, and will select one winning piece to be proudly displayed in the United States Capitol for a year, and four runner up pieces to be displayed in our four offices located across our district and in Washington, D.C.
We'd like to share our official voting link for the 2025 TX04 Art Competition! You may now go vote for your favorite pieces in this year’s competition. We have two students who participated so please vote for:
29. Unchecked Innovation by Lucas Silva and 12. Fallen Soldier by Colbyn Skillern.
