The Lady Eagles had an outstanding afternoon at today’s scrimmage! The girls came ready to compete and showed a lot of fight, energy, and teamwork.
VARSITY: 3-0 in scrimmages
They competed against North Hopkins, TCA, and Quitman and came out on top!
JV 1 & JV 2 also competed against Quitman and North Hopkins, gaining valuable experience and getting better with every set.
We are so proud of the way our girls competed today! This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see what this group can accomplish. 🦅🏐
Tomorrow, the Lady Eagles will be back at it at the Hughes Springs Scrimmage!
How can we say thank you enough to Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pickton, Texas? They poured over our CPCISD staff with homemade food, delicious desserts, TONS of door prizes and prayers. Thank you for welcoming us this year!
Parking Update!
All visitors to the CTE Open House can park in the High School parking lot. You will need to either walk through the High School to get to the awning that leads to the CTE building OR there will be an air conditioned shuttle that will take you to the back of the campus. The back of the High School will be roped off to lead visitors to the CTE building and away from ongoing construction. See you tomorrow afternoon.

It's time to sign up for Brightstar Baseball! This is a baseball league for special education students that focuses on growing relationships, building skills and confidence, and providing an inclusive environment for our students. It is open to Hopkins County students, and you can participate in one of two ways. A CareFlight helicopter landed on the Como-Pickton CISD football field this afternoon in response to a non-school-related emergency. We want to assure our families and community that all CPCISD students, faculty, and staff are safe.

Our staff will be available to assist with required registration forms during the Grand Opening Celebration of the Joe Tom Braden Career and Technical Education Center. This is a great opportunity to submit your completed paperwork or pick up a paper packet to complete.

All students must complete TWO STEPS to register for the upcoming school year:
✅ Step 1: Complete Online Registration in Ascender
Complete online registration from home through Ascender OR
Get help completing it during one of our in-person registration sessions.
✅ Step 2: Complete Paper Consent Forms
Paper consent forms must also be completed and submitted.
Complete them during one of the registration sessions OR
Print them from our website and turn them in at schedule pick-up.
Junior High & High School schedules may be picked up once BOTH steps have been completed.
