Our students were busy representing CPCISD at NETLA during National FFA Week, so our FFA Officers had the honor of presenting our chapter’s accomplishments at last night’s Board meeting!

We are incredibly proud of these students and their leadership, hard work, and dedication to growing our FFA program. The future of agriculture is bright! 🌟🌾💙

It came down to the wire on Friday at Union Grove, as our Como-Pickton War Eagles grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 5-4, over the McLeod Longhorns. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the fifth when Nick Castle doubled, scoring the winning run! Dane Oud hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the third! Sean Carpenter and Cade Childress had some big hits as well that helped push the Eagles over the top. Our War Eagles play at home on Tuesday against Fruitvale in their next game.
