Lady Eagles win a big game tonight beating Fruitvale at their place 7-1.
Team had 5 stolen bases.
Cameron Kettwich dominated on the mound tonight with 13 Ks only giving up 2 hits.

Monday afternoon, our JH boys traveled to Mt. Vernon to participate in the JH Mt. Vernon track & field meet. Our boys came out and competed to the best of their abilities. Several athletes medaled and placed in their respective events. As a team, both the 7th and 8th grade teams placed 5th, competing against schools in bigger UIL classifications than ours. Overall, a good day for our boys.

Baseball and Softball Update
With the chances of rain tonight and tomorrow, we have flipped our sites for our games this week. Fruitvale has turf fields and will be able to better accommodate if there is a rain.
Tuesday, March 10th both baseball and softball will play at Fruitvale.

Weekly Eagle Athletic Schedule

It came down to the wire on Friday at Union Grove, as our Como-Pickton War Eagles grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 5-4, over the McLeod Longhorns. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the fifth when Nick Castle doubled, scoring the winning run!
Dane Oud hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the third! Sean Carpenter and Cade Childress had some big hits as well that helped push the Eagles over the top.
Our War Eagles play at home on Tuesday against Fruitvale in their next game.
