Thank you to Triple Crown Roofing and Rusty Harden for providing breakfast to our staff on Tuesday! Rusty, a former teacher at CPCISD, took a few minutes to tell some stories about his days at Como-Pickton. And, if you know Rusty, you know that everyone was laughing by the time he was finished talking. Thank you for your continued support of CPCISD!

Ochoa Orthodontics helped our staff make it through the afternoon last Monday. How did they do that? Snacks, of course! Trail mix, chips, snack bars, waters, energy drinks... all the goodies! We are thankful for your generosity!

The CPCISD cheerleaders made breakfast for our entire staff on Monday morning, and it was enjoyed by all! We always look forward to this breakfast with our cheerleaders!

One of our favorite traditions at Como-Pickton is when our local churches come and pray over all the rooms in our buildings. We are honored by their service to us, and we are thankful for all they do for us. Thank you to Grace Methodist Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, and Greenpond Baptist Church for praying over us this year!

Lady Eagles at the Chisum Tournament 🏐🦅 The Varsity Lady Eagles competed in the Chisum Tournament and finished 2-4 against some great competition! Our girls competed hard, battled through every match, and continued to grow and improve. 🏐 They came up short against Bells, Howe, Quinlan, and Hooks, but they picked up wins against Trenton and North Lamar JV! We are proud of the way our girls continued to compete, fight, and represent Como-Pickton. We’ll take what we learned from this tournament and keep getting better! 🦅💙🏐 Keep working, Lady Eagles! The season is just getting started!

Today is the first Friday of the school year, and Fridays are always fun! What made this Friday even more special was the group of dads, community members, and State Troopers who came to welcome our students to school.

The kids started their day with high-fives and big smiles! CPCISD is blessed to have a community that cares so much about our students!

Elementary Reminders!

To say the Joe Tom Braden Career and Technical Education Center at CPCISD is impressive is quite the understatement. Our new CTE facility is draw-dropping impressive! CPCISD held a Grand Opening Celebration for the new CTE Center on Sunday, August 9, and our loyal community came out to support our program and visit the new building. The amount of work and planning that went into this project is incredible, and CPCISD staff is truly grateful to the community for funding this project that will change our students' lives. What an amazing asset to our school!
