Como-Pickton CISD announces Lydia Walden as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent!
The Board of Trustees has named Lydia Walden as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent. Mrs. Walden is in her 42nd year in education and has proudly served 26 of those years at Como-Pickton.
“I am deeply honored and humbled,” she said. “Every decision we make must lift students. When we lead with purpose, collaboration, and heart, schools become places where every child sees possibility — and every educator feels valued.”
Following the state-required 21-day waiting period, Mrs. Walden is set to officially become Superintendent. 💙🦅
