Dear Como-Pickton Parents,
Como-Pickton CISD is aware of the recent allegations involving Lifetouch. Please know that we take all concerns seriously and remain committed to protecting our students and their information.
At this time, district administrators are reviewing our affiliation with Lifetouch. While this review is underway, all upcoming photography services involving Lifetouch have been postponed at every campus.
We are conducting a thorough review of our current contract, as fall pictures are used for the yearbook and many other school projects. This information came to our attention late Friday afternoon, and we appreciate your patience as we work through this process carefully and responsibly.
Our priority is to ensure the safety and security of our students’ information while continuing to provide photo opportunities for the remainder of the school year. We have begun the vetting process for a new photography vendor for the remainder of this year and for future years. We understand that this may create scheduling challenges, as photographers across the region may be receiving similar requests, but student safety remains our top priority.
We know this situation is not ideal, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and best interests of our students.
We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Weekly Eagle Athletic Schedule

Lady Eagle Softball had a tough loss today losing to Community 9-1 but then bounced back beating Chisum 9-7. We will grow from this loss and come back better! They were scheduled to play Paris High school tomorrow but Paris has forfeited the game. There is no game tomorrow. Next game is at Winnsboro on Monday starting at 4:30 come out and support these girls! Season record 12-1

Lady Eagle softball stay undefeated by beating Chapel hill today 9-0, and then beating New Boston 10-0. Defense played great today and everyone got and base to score! They will play a great 4A Community team tomorrow at 10:45 and then Chisum at 12:30 right after, both games are at Chisum! "Walden's Words"

Lady Eagles win their first home game tonight, run ruling Bland 11-0 in the 6th inning. They are now 8-0 for the season. All three pitchers Lexie Rainey, Graci Adiar, and Cameron Kettwich pitched tonight throwing a team shut out and only giving up 1 hit. These girls are off to a great start and it keeps getting better! Next games are Thursday in the Chisum Tournament where they will play Chapel Hill at 9:00 and New Boston at 2:15!

Though our season didn't end like we wanted it to, these young men put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into their season. To our seniors, Dane Oud, Cade Childress, Sean Carpenter, and Jeremiah Hammon, we thank you for your dedication to our basketball program throughout your high school career. We look forward to what the future holds for you. Our underclassmen grew a lot this year! There fight and determination showed up every night and they got better every game. There were tremendous gains for these young men and our future basketball program has a lot of hope and potential! We look forward to next year !

Attention Elementary Parents! This will run from 2/18 to 3/4. Information below!

Your Lady Eagles battled last night for the Bi-District Championship, but unfortunately the scoreboard wasn’t in our favor. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, our ladies competed with heart, determination, and resilience. They represented our school with pride and demonstrated outstanding dedication to our team. We are incredibly proud of their effort, sportsmanship, and the way they fought until the very end. Having an up and down season dealing with injuries they finished the season with 8-4 district record winning 5 out of the last 6 and an overall record of 17-14. All ladies stepped up filling different roles throughout the season showcasing their sacrifice for their team. Special shoutout to our only senior Shyann Wetzel wishing you the best in all that you do. Thank you Eagle Nation for showing up and cheering all year long we really appreciate it!!

Weekly Eagle Athletic Schedule

Lady Eagles softball win 1st place in the Union Grove tournament!!! The went undefeated going 6-0. They beat Alba Golden today 7-1. Lexi Rainey hit her first home run of the year. Gracie Adair hit another home run against alba today! These girls are off to an amazing start with a 7-0 record, they are going to be tough to beat this year! Next game is at home this Tuesday starting at 5:00 vs Bland come out and watch these girls perform!

Lady Eagle Softball keeps it rolling winning all 3 games today!!! They beat overton 11-3, then beat Gladewater 5-3, and then run ruled Sabine 19-4 to finish it off. Graci Adair hit 2 big bombs over the fence today! Each day the girls keep getting better and better and are looking fantastic staying off the year! Next game is tomorrow at 10:45 in Union Grove vs Alba Golden! Come out and support these girls as they keep working hard!
