Our JH boys traveled to Miller Grove for their first track meet of the season. The boys went out and competed well against the other schools with several of our boys helping the team get points.
Below are the athletes and teams that placed at the track meet:
4x100m Relay- 3rd place finish

4x200m Relay- 6th place finish

The boys will be competing in Winnsboro on Monday, March 3rd for their next meet.

The Lady Eagle Softball team keeps it rolling tonight with a huge win over Winnsboro. They won 13-2 and recorded a team total of 16 hits, 7 doubles, and a triple. Next games are in the Franklin Tournament this weekend. We will keep you posted!

Congratulations to Danica Wiggins and Valeria Gonzalez on being selected as an FCA All-Star Cheerleader. They were selected to represent Como-Pickton and participate in the 15th annual NETX FCA All-Star Heart of a Champion game. The game will be held on June 7th at CHRISTUS TMF Rose Stadium in Tyler. We are proud to announce that this team won our 5 on 5 invitational scholarship fundraiser tournament. Congratulations: Ladarius Harrison, Jhonathan Mejia, Kevin Hernandez, Yoan Preciado, Ruben Preciado, Ozzy Preciado, Brinlyn Schepp, and Easton Romero! And Brinlyn Schepp won the 3-Point contest as well.

Lady Eagles Softball gets back going today beating Chisum 15-2. Today everyone showed up recording a team total of 20 hits. The pitching staff also came out with three pitchers combined had 8 strikeouts in 5 innings. It great to see these girls playing again.Next game is tomorrow Feb. 18th at NTCC vs Queen City starting at 5.

Your Lady Eagles traveled to Commerce to compete in the area round and showed tremendous effort with a lot of resiliency. Our ladies played and competed hard all throughout the game but unfortunately the scoreboard wasn’t on our favor. We are very proud of all the girls and very proud of the season they had. They accomplished a lot this year and their future is bright. Great Job Ladies! 🦅

I have attached a parking map below. Please park in North Lot 3. Sregit Drive is a ONE WAY street, so everyone must come in from Culver Street (the road by WalMart). You will drop athletes off at the gate by the long covered walkway, then pull the bus forward to park along the curb.
