We need each other more than ever right now! This month let's focus on reaching out to connect with others and doing our best to be a good friend. Our acts of kindness and connection ripple out and impact so many more people than we realize - and they also boost our own happy hormones too! In stressful times people around us may be feeling the strain, so let's try to keep calm, take time to listen and show compassion.

Como and Pickton Communities,
I’ve been watching the forecast for the last couple of days. I’m not a weather expert, but those meteorologists who are, claim that we have the potential for some very dangerous roads over the next two days.
As a precaution , I will be ordering school closed this Thursday and Friday. Nothing may happen at all, but I’d rather give our parents an opportunity to make plans for their little ones then for them to wait on us to figure out what we are going to do each day.
Some of you may have the following questions:
1. What about our athletic games? All varsity games will be rescheduled for make-up. Junior High and JV games will not.
2. Will we have to make up these days? We built our calendar to anticipate days like this. For these two days we will not have to make them up.
3. Classes will resume at normal time on Monday, February 7th.
Once again we are blessed to serve your children, and we thank you for your constant support of our school.
Your proud superintendent- Dr. Greg Bower

Eagle Pride Correction. We inadvertently posted the other day that our cheer squad made it to the state finals for the first time in school history. We should have noted that our cheer squad from last year made it as well… giving us back to back representation. Thank you for allowing us to correct this and honor last year and year’s squads.
