Eagle Pride Alert! Our Lady Eagles Softball keep it going with two more wins today! They beat Linden Kildare 11-6 in the first game and Jefferson 8-0 the second game!
Out of 44 at bats the team only struck out 6 times at the plate!
Mattison Buster threw her first perfect game of the year vs Jefferson, meaning no one touched first base! She had a total of 21 strikeouts in 9 innings today!
Our next game is tomorrow in Union Grove. They play:

Eagle Pride Alert! A HUGE congratulations goes out to Alyssa Corona!!!! She has been selected to play in this year’s FCA Softball All-Star.
This is an amazing achievement. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes committee has hundreds of players nominated each year and only select 24 from 2A!!!
To be nominated you must be a senior. Then they take into account all the previous year’s stats and achievements.
She was awarded academic all district, and 1st team all district. With those awards and recording 0 strikeouts in district plus great stats, she was selected!!!
Last week she attended the media day where she was announced and given a certificate for this award.
Next will be the All-Star game that is played June 3rd!!! Wish her luck as she represents our school is this amazing way!

Eagle Pride Alert! The Lady Eagles keep it rolling with their 6th straight today!!! They traveled to Simms Bowie and won 10-1!!!
Mattison Buster hit two Home Runs and recorded 20 strikeouts in 7 innings!

With 33 at bats the team only had 5 strikeouts!

Your Como-Pickton Eagles came up short today in their matchup against Commerce. There were several positives in tonight’s game and we look forward to building off of them. The next game(s) we play will be in the Cooper Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. #EaglePride247

Eagle Pride Alert! The Lady Eagles Softball team is on a role winning their 4th and 5th straight games today!
They beat Paris High-school 10-4 today and then turned around and beat Sam Rayburn 13-0! This puts their overall record at 5-1!!!
Our next game is Tuesday March 1st at Simms Bowie High-school.

The Lady Eagles at Chisum tournament has been canceled.
But they are still playing two games today in Paris Chisum.
They are playing at 12:00 vs Paris and 3:30 vs Sam Rayburn.
For now Saturday has been canceled and there are no games if there are any changes we will keep you posted!

Eagle Parents. As a result of deteriorating road conditions, we are releasing school at 1:15 today just after lunches end. Because of anticipated rain and freezing temperatures tonight, we will take precautions of closing tomorrow as well. We have enough time built into our calendar that these will not need to be made-up. Stay safe out there.
