Eagle Basketball Fans. We have a quick update regarding the boys playoff game. Saturday’s game versus Linden-Kildare has been canceled as a result of a broken water pipe in Hughes Springs High School. The game is rescheduled for Monday, and a we will let you know the new time and location as soon as we have it. Keeping you informed.
Como-Pickton Community: I wanted to take this moment to personally brag on our Eagle staff. Every day they have met virtually for trainings and to talk about ways to prepare our school for receiving students this coming Monday. More than that, though, they have held discussions on how they might help families in need who are unable to get food, water, or supplies. Behind the scenes, and without want of recognition, many staff members volunteered to be the ones to go out and check on other staff, students, or community members if a need arose. Often times, they get criticized by folks who truly fail to know their hearts. In this difficult time, and out of an abundance of pride for those who serve our school system, I wanted to personally acknowledge their contributions when few are able to witness their giving spirit. I hope today is the day that this snow and ice begins to release its grip on our community and state. If we can serve you in a realistic way during this time, please let us know. I can't promise we can help, but I promise we will try if possible. #EaglePride247

Lady Eagle Basketball Fans! See the attached letter from Paris High School regarding their rules and ticket information for our playoff game this Saturday at 2:00 against Muenster.
Eagle Basketball Fans! We have a few more changes to update you with.
1. There is no change for our Lady Eagles. Our Lady Eagles will play Muenster this Saturday at 2:00pm at Paris High School. Tickets will be purchased online. As soon as Paris High releases the link for ticket sales, we will post here immediately.
2. Pittsburgh is now unable to host events on Saturday. Instead, our Eagle Boys will be playing Linden Kildare this Saturday at 5:30 at Hughes Springs High School. Those tickets will be sold at the door.

Dear Como and Pickton Communities,
Our schools will be closed for the remainder of the week as a result of the winter weather that we have already received as well as the forecasted weather for the rest of this week. Students will report back to school on Monday, February 22nd at normal time. We want to make sure that our parents have plenty of time to plan for this accordingly. We have enough time built into our school calendar to make it possible that students will NOT have to make up these missed days. As always, we thank you for your constant support of our schools. Please stay warm and safe over these next few days.

We are still working out the time and place and will get back to you with that information. It will either be 4:00 pm at Paris or 8:00 pm at Greenville. We will keep you posted as soon as we know. Dear Como-Pickton Community: Our school will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as a result of the winter weather that we received last night. As the temperatures will not be above freezing, and there is more winter precipitation in the forecast, it is probable that we will have to close on Thursday and Friday as well. We will make that determination before then if we need to stay closed. Many of you will have the following questions that we will try to answer now:
1. Will we have to make-up these days? Answer - We currently have enough time built into our calendar that our students will NOT have to make-up these days.
2. What about our girls' playoff game for Tuesday? Answer - We are sure that this game will be canceled as well, but it has not at this time. We will keep everyone posted when those changes are made as well.
Eagle Pride Alert! Our Lady Eagles bring home the Bi-District Championship by defeating Clarksville 44 to 20.

Eagle Pride Alert! The Varsity Eagles defeated Boles tonight 59-29. The varsity boys finish second place in district and will play Linden Kildare in the in Bi-District round in the state playoffs in Pittsburg. The date and time will be determined later and posted on the school website. The Lady Eagles will play Clarksville tomorrow at Commerce High School at noon in their Bi-District game. Junior High Basketball Update for tonight. Alba-Golden has elected not to travel to our games tonight out of caution. As a result, our Junior High games have been canceled. At this time we do not anticipate a make-up game. We will keep you posted if this changes.
