Black Team won 36-0. Huge blows were delivered by Bryan Garcia and Baelin Gillis on defense. Edwin Castillo and Christian Finney ran the ball well behind our offensive line!
White team won 26-20 in a nail biter! Jorge Garcia, Manny Martinez, and Richy Munoz made several tackles on defense. Kayson Self and Richy Munoz ran the ball extremely hard!
Very proud of these young men! Both teams finished 5-2 on the season!

This month, we're encouraging you to try something new! Learning something new or getting involved in an activity that really absorbs and interests us is great for our wellbeing. Keeping our brains active is not only good for us physically but it can help you feel you are flourishing as you see yourself make progress with a new skill, or just make you smile as you make a mess and decide to start again. :) Being playful and trying new things is important, as is remembering that it's OK not to get it right first time - change "I can't do it", into "I can't do it...yet!" This month's calendar is full of ideas to help you decide what to try next.

Eagle Parents. A parent has falsely posted on Facebook that staff violated a drug testing procedure in regards to her child during our last extra-curricular drug test. For transparency, and before there is any momentum on this issue, we want to take this time to make this public statement in order to stop the false information from spreading further. Not only is the claim 100% false, but the post borders on defamation of our employees. We want to remind parents that they are welcome to make positive or negative comments regarding our school, but spreading false, inaccurate information is not appropriate.

We had our A team come home with 2nd place and B team came in 1st place within their tournaments at North Hopkins. We are very proud of our athletes this season.
