Eagle Pride Alert! Tonight our Junior High played against Cumby. Our B team pulled out a great win tonight while our other teams fought hard. Next Monday we will travel to Boles to play next. Let these girls know how proud you are of them! #EaglePRIDE247

Eagle Pride Alert! Our JH football teams went out and competed tonight! Black team started it out with their scrimmage against Prairiland. The Black team tied with Prairiland, both scoring one touchdown. Edwin Castillo scored for the Eagles and Bryan Garcia had a couple of big hits on defense! The White team had their first game tonight! They started it out right with a 22-18 win over Prairiland! Touchdowns were made by Ricky Munoz and Kayson Self (x2). Sean Carpenter and Ethan Brooks lead the way with big blocks. Our defense as whole played extremely well. They all flew around the field to make tackles! Dear Como-Pickton Parents, We are fortunate to have been able to serve free breakfasts and lunches for our students this year regardless of your home income. In order to continue that for next year, however, our district must meet certain requirements. We meet those requirements by completion of certain things within the meal-packet forms. The first week of school, we sent these meal-packet forms home with your child. We need every single one of those filled out. It doesn't matter if you qualify for Free or Reduced Services, we still need to collect those by tomorrow. If your child did not deliver one to you, please contact your child's campus. We will be happy to email one to you if you need it or send another one home today. If we do not meet our requirements, we will not be able to offer free meals again next year. I think we all agree that this is a great service for every student in our community, and therefor we need your help getting those forms returned to school. Eagle Pride Alert! Our JH football teams had a good start to their season tonight with the Black team scrimmaging in Como-Pickton and the white team in Boles. The Black team out scored Rivercrest 1 to 0. Bailin Gillis scores for CP and Carlos Estrada had an interception. Big hits were made by Edwin Castillo and Bryan Garcia on defense while the offense was led in blocking by Jeremy Flowers and Houston Pegues. The White team out scored Boles 2 to 1. Touchdowns were made by Richy Munoz and Kayson Self. Sean Carpenter and Ethan Brooks lead the way with big blocks. Our defense played extremely well. Ricky Self delivered several crushing blows. Kevin McDaniels, Manny Martinez, and Trey Skidmore flew around the field to make tackles! Very proud of the way these guys went out and competed tonight!
