Your Lady Eagles traveled to North Hopkins tonight to wrap up district play. Your JV Lady Eagles are officially your UNDEFEATED District Champions!! They had to battle tonight for it but pulled it off! Proud is an understatement! Varsity unfortunately fell to the Lady Panthers in 3. This results in a tie between Como-Pickton and North Hopkins. They will have a tie breaking game this Friday with details to be announced soon.

Parents,
We have released from our shelter in place. We have been informed that there is no longer any threat down the road from us. Our buses will be running as normal this afternoon. There is a possibility that bus 5 may not be able to get to a few drop off locations. If that is the case, we will contact you individually. Also, bus 5 will more than likely have to return students on an alternate route this afternoon. Those on that bus may arrive home just a little later than normal. Please be patient with us as we work through those issues. Thank you again for your constant support of our school.
Parents. Law enforcement has informed me that there has been a shooting at or around Harmony Baptist Church. They have the suspect isolated, but out of caution, we are placing our school in a shelter in place and keeping all students securely locked inside of our buildings. We wanted you to know that your students are safe. We didn't want you guessing at what was happening. Again, students at Como-Pickton are safe and secure. The trouble is down the road several miles.

Your Lady Eagles hosted the Cumby Lady Trojans for Senior Night. The Lady Eagles honored their lone Senior, Mattison Buster! The Varsity Lady Eagles put up a good battle but fell ultimately fell short. The JV Lady Eagles came out ready to defend their Undefeated District record and did just that! The last district game is Tuesday at North Hopkins, with JV starting at 5 and Varsity to follow!

GREAT DAY TO BE AN EAGLE. 🦅Tonight the 7/8 grade football team joined forces and came out with a 24-0 shut out win over the Alba-Golden Panthers. The entire team played extremely well! Proud of these guys!

Eagle Pride Alert!
Your Lady Eagles traveled to Boles tonight to battle the Lady Hornets. The JV Lady Eagles had a slow start, but quickly picked up the pace and clinched another W in 2 sets. They continue to defend their UNDEFEATED District record! Your Varsity Lady Eagles came in focused and determined. This led to them sweeping the Lady Hornets in 3 sets! Their record is now 6-2! Friday your favorite volleyball girls will be back at home for one last time this season to battle the Lady Tojans of Cumby! It will be Senior Night and those festivities will begin at 4:15. Varsity will start at 4:30 and JV will follow.
