
Eagle Pride Alert! We are thrilled to congratulate Lucas Silva who entered the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE). It is a contest that recognizes exemplary student achievement in Visual Arts. Lucas submitted two works receiving a rating of 4 out of 4 and Regional Medals for both works of art. These 2 works moved to Area. Out of four divisions Lucas was in Division 3. Of all six students who participated, CPHS had a total of 2 art students (Lucas in Division 3 and Evelyn in Division 2) with perfect scores on their art and interview! Congratulations to Lucas who worked so hard on your art, writing and interviews.

Eagle Pride Alert! Our Lady Eagles start their tournament out great winning the first two games! They beat Tom Bean 6-4 and then beat Lone Oak jv 10-0!!!
They are at Wolfe City tomorrow playing at 1:00 vs Maud and 2:30 vs Wolfe City! This brings their season record to 9-1





Como-Pickton baseball played their first game at the Cooper tournament today! The Eagles played against Rivercrest and played great all the way through out the game! The Eagles will play at 10:00 against Leonard in Cooper!

Our Como Pickton Eagles played at home tonight against Commerce. The Eagles took the lead early in the game, but fell at the end. The Eagles will play on February 29, March 1, and March 2 at the annual Cooper bulldog tournament. Notable player of the game was Dane Oud with 2HR, Triple, double 4-6 with 7RBI,s.

Eagle Softball Alert! See the updated schedule below. This week the North Hopkins/Wolfe City tournament has been moved to Lone Oak/ Wolfe City.
The Grand Saline tournament next week has been moved to Lindale.


Our Lady Eagles Softball won two big games today taking second place in the Chisum tournament!!!
They run ruled MP Chapel Hill 15-3 in the first game and then won an incredible game vs Commerce 8-5!
The next game is vs Simms Bowie on Tuesday AWAY starting at 5:00.
Their over all record is 6-1





Our Como-Pickton Eagles played at the Chisum Tournament today! The Eagles started out aggressive then slowed down throughout both games. Tucker LeCroy started the game against Cooper and pitched 5 innings 1 hit 3 walks and no earned runs.

Our Lady Eagles keep it going with a big win vs Paris Chisum 11-3!!!
Journey Brumley hit an inside the park home run! They played a tough game vs a very good Community High school but came up short loosing 7-2. Their next games are tomorrow starting at 12:30 against Chapel Hill and 5:45 vs Commerce!





These young men went to Pittsburg on Thursday night and competed against 4A and 3A. They represented Como-Pickton very well and even came home with a few medals.
Cade Childress: 2nd in the 2 mile, 800M and mile.
Adan Bucio: 3rd in the 800M and 5th in the 400M.
Carlos Estrada: 3rd in the 400M.
Noah Arnold: 4th in the Shot Put.
