We are so thankful for our community partners at Caney Baptist Church for serving our athletes a delicious breakfast this morning. 💙 There’s nothing quite like a small country church family who loves and supports our CPCISD students. 🦅 It truly takes a village—thank you!

Our Junior High Eagles came away with another victory this evening against the Honey Grove Warriors, winning 22-16!! These young men are putting in some good work and it's paying off!!

These students were selected by their teachers for the month of September because they follow our school motto by being safe, responsible, respectful, and kind! We are so proud of our students at Como-Pickton Elementary who are reading and taking AR tests to reach their goals! The students who reached their goal for the first six weeks got to play musical chairs for prizes. They also all were given candy and a bracelet. Keep up the great work!

In times of uncertainty, optimism becomes even more important. We can't control what happens, but we can choose to stay hopeful and take positive action. Join us for Optimistic October!

Lady Eagles JH softball end their season tonight with two big wins!!! They beat Chapel Hill Mount Pleasant 11-2 game one and 8-0 game two!!! This puts their district record at 10-2. These girls practiced hard, fought hard, and played hard this year. We couldn’t be more proud of their development through the season! Our future looks bright for Como Pickton Softball!

Students will receive an insurance discount form upon completion of the course.

This morning, Bus 2 experienced a mechanical issue on its route. The bus began to smoke, so the driver safely pulled over and evacuated the students. There was no fire involved—oil caused the smoke.

A special thank you goes out to our High School students who assisted our younger Eagles during the evacuation. We are so proud of the leadership and teamwork shown today!

All students are safe and were returned to school on another bus. 🦅💙 #EaglePride247

We celebrated our "Out of this World" staff member for the month of August today at Como-Pickton Elementary. Eva Teer was voted in by other staff members for her unwavering hard work and dedication to our elementary school. Congratulations! We are so lucky to have you!

Mrs. Dodd's 4th grade Reading class enjoyed some sunshine during their lesson last week. They played four corners outside to choose their answers for Reading comprehension!

Pre-K and Kindergarten had their celebration for the end of the six weeks on Friday! For behaving in class and working hard, they got to watch a 30 minute movie and have snacks with the principal. There was also a drawing to win prizes! We are so proud of them! Keep up the good work Pre-K and Kindergarten!

Your Lady Eagles hosted the Yantis Lady Owls in an exciting district showdown — and they did not disappoint! The Lady Eagles swept the match with a stellar performance, showcasing excellent teamwork, hustle, and powerful plays all around. 💪🔥 With this win, the Lady Eagles improve to 2-0 in district play! Next up: They’ll hit the road to face North Hopkins next Tuesday. 📍 Location: North Hopkins ISD 🕔 JV starts at 5:00 PM 🏐 Varsity follows right after Come out and support your Lady Eagles as they keep the momentum going! 🏐🦅

Our Varsity Eagle football team did it again!! They came out firing and put the Panthers of Alba-Golden away with a 48-30 victory!! These young men are on a mission this year and are doing great things! They are back in action next week in Honey Grove at 7PM.
