Eagle Pride Alert!! The Varsity Lady Eagles traveled to Commerce  for their last tournament. They played 3 games today and competed and had some great plays. They went 2-1 today in their pool play. They dominated Miller Grove and PTAA-Fate and then fell short to Commerce in a competitive match 25-19, 25-21. Varsity will be in the Gold Bracket. JV Lady Eagles played in the tournament today and battled against 3 Varsity teams. They fell short but ended up forcing Quitman into a 3 set match. They will be in the silver Bracket. They will play Detroit tomorrow at  home with Varsity starting at 4:30pm, and JV to follow.

Eagle Pride Alert!! The JH Lady Eagle Softball came out strong tonight beat Saltillo in Game 1 4-0 and then 7-1 the second game. Kaydence Harrington threw a no hitter both games. They have been all working extremely hard and they keep getting better each practice! Very proud of all these girls. Next game is Tuesday Sept 2nd vs Fruitvale at home starting at 4:30. Come out and support the girls this season.

Eagle Volleyball Fans!!

Eagle Athletic Schedule! Junior high boys football will not have practice Monday morning. They will stay after school for our fundraiser kickoff and will be done around 5:00PM.

Eagle Pride Alert!! On Friday, the Lady Eagles JV and Varsity teams traveled to Boles, where they delivered a resounding performance, sweeping both games against the Lady Hornets. Saturday Varsity Lady Eagles continued their winning momentum at North Hopkins tournament in the Silver Bracket, triumphing in all games. They secured victories against Axtell, North Lamar JV, and Quitman, ultimately becoming champions. This Tuesday, they will play their first home game of the season against the Commerce Lady Tigers. JV2 4:30pm JV1 5:30pm Varsity 6:30pm

Eagle Pride Alert!! Our Eagles took the field in one last warmup against the Chisum Mustangs before the season kicks off next week. The Eagles showed a lot of grit and determination as they did battle tonight and came away with a lot of positives!! The Eagles start their season next week versus the Union Grove Lions! JV will play at home on Thursday, August 28th at 5:00PM. The varsity will play Friday night in Union Grove starting at 7:00PM!!

Eagle Volleyball Fans!

Attention Como-Pickton CISD Staff and Families:
The City of Como has completed the water pump replacement, and school will begin at our regularly scheduled time tomorrow morning.

The city estimates the water tank will be full by 10:00 PM tonight, and a water boil notice will remain in effect until Monday.

We kindly ask that parents send their child to school with a water bottle to use until we are able to secure a larger supply of drinking water.

Morning athletic practices will also resume their normal schedule.
Thank you for your patience and support!

Due to a water issue, we will be releasing students at 1:00pm today. No after school practices for high school or junior high.

Eagle Band Parents Needed! Help feed our students on game day.
