Mattison Buster went 3-3 at the plate hitting a home run in the fifth.
Alyssa Corona hit a walk off home run in the fifth to end the game!

Dear Eagle Parents, Students, and Faculty:
I have learned that services for our precious Hannah will be this Thursday at 2:00. I would like to remove pressure from our staff and students on their decision to either attend the services or be present at school. At such a tender time as this, I am ordering our school closed this Thursday in order for any staff or students who may want to pay their respect to the Pegues' family, and to Hannah in particular.
In regards to scheduled athletic events, they will continue and may possibly be rescheduled to a different time that day. It is uncertain at this time. We will relay any changes in time for scheduled events here on Social Media and through your child's messages from their coaches.
Our school is already scheduled to be closed in honor of Good Friday, and that will not change.
May His mighty healing hands be over our school community at this time.
Yours Sincerely - Greg Bower
Eagle Softball Fans. In an effort to beat the weather tonight, the softball game is getting moved up to 4:00.

A message from our Superintendent - Dr. Greg Bower
To Our Dear Como and Pickton Communities,
All of us at Como-Pickton CISD, faculty and students alike, were both shocked and overcome with grief at the untimely passing of our Hannah Pegues. Hannah was a student of whom we all thought highly; a young lady to whom we pointed with pride as a student at our school.
Various members of the faculty who had Hannah in class, extra-curricular events, or knew her have spoken to me and asked me to convey their sense of loss and their deepest sympathies to the Pegues family. This I do, and I add my own. Hannah will be missed by us all.
The loss of a child is one of life’s greatest sorrows. When it is someone of the quality of Hannah, it is a real tragedy for us all.
We have provided psychologists, counselors, ministers, and extra staff to assist students and teachers as we make our way through this difficult time. Students may exhibit all levels of emotions, ranging from crying, numbness, and feelings of despair, to just wanting to be close to family and friends. All are normal responses.
We are aware that there are no words which are appropriate to remove the unbearable sting of pain that has resonated throughout our two precious communities, but please know that we join you in this time of loss and sorrow. As she has honored us with her life, let us each honor her within our hearts and prayers.
On behalf of the Como-Pickton CISD School Board, Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Students, I offer our deepest sympathies to the Pegues family.
Dr. Greg Bower
